This blog is a record of my attempts at making awesome food, and building awesome things. It is a way for me to explore cooking and food photography, with an emphasis on no-compromise cooking, and a dash of food science. This isn’t about shortcuts, or “quick and easy”. It is about making something great, even if it takes a long time, and is hard. That isn’t to say I’d exclude something just because it is easy. Lots of simple, easy things rock.

You may have noticed I don’t have any advertisements, but occasionally, I do link to items on Amazon and get a very tiny kickback. I never link to anything that I don’t own and endorse. BTW, I think I’ve made less than $10 so far, so don’t get too wound up.
